q
Everyone must pre-enter
no earlier than Saturday, January 9, 2010. Hand-deliveries
at the DAWG Holiday Party (Jan. 9) or at the BF3 Holiday
Party (Jan. 10) will be accepted by Sherri Farmer.
Use the entry form attached
here.
q
Entries close when we reach 600 runs, or at 6:00 pm on
February 12, whichever comes first. If we reach 600 runs
first, we will start a wait list and contact the “waiters”
as spots become available.
If you enter and cannot
make it, PLEASE notify Sherri Farmer ahead of time so we can
offer your spot to someone on the wait list. sherrifarmer@verizon.net
q
The match will be conducted like a trial – set-level
courses, course changes, running order at gate, etc. –
except we will not keep scores and both rings will have a
standard course (different standard course in each ring).
You may run the marked course, or make up your own to work
on your individual training needs.
q
Entries will be rotated between each ring. Please don’t ask
to run in a specific ring.
q
Runs will be divided by jump height. Excellent will run
first in both rings, then Open, then Novice.
q
90-second time limit per run. When the whistle blows,
please rush to the exit quickly so the next dog can begin.
q
VOLUNTEERS!
We will need volunteers to help unload/load the trailer,
build courses, and be ring crew. Please fill out the
volunteer portion of the entry form. Thank you in advance!
There will be a raffle for all our wonderful volunteers!
|
|
Treats and toys will be
allowed in the ring. However, please DO NOT
use sticky, soft, mushy, or juicy treats on
the contact equipment. We cannot allow
treat residue to remain on the contact
equipment. If you want to bait the
contacts, please use dry treats and put the
treat on a target. Please do not use
crumbly treats that will leave crumbs in the
ring. |
Tentative Running Order
Subject to changes based on entry
numbers. Confirmations will be sent when
entries close with estimated times
included, depending on entry numbers.
